– This Tory victory means that the Labor Party can no longer call for an election, and cannot table another no-confidence motion for 12 months.
London: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has won the vote of confidence. Hence Britain’s Tory (conservative) party will still be in power, but it will have to exercise to elect a new party leader.
Boris Johnson won by 111 votes after the motion of no confidence presented by Britain’s opposition was defeated by 349 to 238 votes. Despite this, the Tory party is engaged in the exercise of electing a new leader to replace Johnson.
It is understood that Johnson had submitted his resignation earlier this month.
With the victory of the conservative (Conservative Party – Tory) in the Parliament of Britain, the Labor Party can no longer press for a general election. Not only that, but can’t even present a no-confidence motion for 12 months.
In this way, Britain has survived a repeat general election. Otherwise, this would have been the third general election in the last five years.
Under the leadership of British Finance Minister Rishi Shunak and Health Minister Sajid Javed, many ministers and senior officials also left Johnson’s resignation. Apart from this, it is also learned that the Prime Minister’s administration has become infamous over the last few months-years due to a series of conspiracies and his party gait during Kovid-19. This party gate made headlines. With 50 ministers and officials leaving within 72 hours of July 8, Boris Johnson was left with no option but to resign.
Now in the who’s who race for the post of British Prime Minister, Rishi Shukal, Foreign Minister Bees Truss, former Equalities Secretary (Minister) Cammy Bedenoy and Trade Policy Secretary Penny Mordaunt are in the running. Tom Regenthar has been eliminated from the race in the Conservative Party’s second round of voting on Monday.
Shunak is in the competition, but also in Britain he joined Johnson’s jalsa due to rising cost of living. Due to which Jalsa, Johnson had to leave, so his talent is a bit lacking. Shunak got 115 votes. Mordaunt received 82 and Truss 71 votes in the Conservative Party meeting.
