Doklam, dt. 22 July 2022 Friday
On the issue of the satellite image of Chinese incursion on the Indian border in Doklam, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Arindam Bagchi said that the government is constantly monitoring all developments affecting the security of the country. China has established a village on the Doklam border. Cars were seen parked outside people’s houses here. The Chinese village is located 9 km east of the Doklam Plateau, where Indian and Chinese forces clashed in 2017.
External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that the government is taking action on this issue in its own way. In response to the satellite image, Bagchi said that the government is constantly monitoring all developments affecting the security of India and is taking all necessary steps for the security of the country.
It is worth mentioning that this village is called China Pangda, it is located in Bhutan. For India, construction along the Amo Chu River means that the Chinese Army can gain strategic access to the nearby Doklam Plateau.
